Yacht Infrared Surveys

Yacht hulls can now be examined for signs of hidden damage with a radiometric imager.

Hugh is an experienced thermographer and Captain with training in the examination of yachts using an infrared thermal imager. (radiometric imager)

He examines hulls and equipment for anomalies, which indicate hidden damaged areas or hidden water infiltration.

All of Hugh’s Infra Red Yacht Surveys follow the protocols set out in The Standard for Infrared Inspection of Recreational Yachts and Small Craft Constructed of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic and Composite Materials published by the Infraspection Institute. This helps to assure a high grade, Thermal Yacht Survey.

He works with marine surveyors and insurance companies and is willing to travel to your yacht.

He uses the thermal camera daily and understands its advantages and limits.
